I made my own invites using card stock, ribbon and Microsoft word. It only cost me $100 with all the supplies.

I planned my entire wedding with just $4000 and came in under budget. It was my dream day. You can do it, don’t give up. Lean on your fiance and your family. Wedding planning is so stressful. My mom gave me great advice when I was freaking out. She said, “If the flowers aren’t quite right and the music doesn’t cue right, the next day, you’ll still be married to the man you love.” It was great advice. Enjoy your wedding and you man. Everything quickly fades.

And you deserve to have it your way! Trust me, I was an event planner not too long ago (and plan to get back into it because it’s my passion) but you’re not the only one who feels this way! This is one of the most voiced complaints I heard from brides. Just remember what things are most important to you and make those the big goals; try to trim and save in areas that are a little less imporant. Can you cut back on the liquor/drinks that you are paying for? Maybe shorten your photographer’s hours. Have a DJ instead of a band? Good luck with the wedding and I look forward to seeing how it turns out for you!!!

Hey, anja. I’ve only come across one store that didn’t accept coupons printed off the internet and that was a Rite Aid. There are other Rite Aids in my area that do accept internet coupons, so I just shop at one of those stores if I have an internet coupon. I think it’s up to the individual manager of a store whether or not they accept them so it’s always a good idea to call up a store before you visit with a coupon you printed to see what their policy is. Some will only take one per transaction, for instance. Best of luck and thanks for visiting!

Hi! Just stumbled upon your blog as I’m beginning to explore the world of personal finance. Looking forward to reading more from you—one of my main concerns now is: do a lot of stores allow you to use coupons you print off the internet? I used to work at a K-Mart wayyyyy back in the day and I know we didn’t accept them. Have times changed? Anywho, I’ve just recently began tracking my spending habits and trying to cut coupons, etc. and am loving every minute of saving $$. Thanks for being here!

Next time you get a ticket try sending it to a traffic lawyer. It’s usually only like 80 dollars and they can almost always get the ticket dismissed so that theres no points on your license…which means no hike in your insurance rate. I’ve done it a few times now and only the most recent wasn’t dismissed completely (I still had to pay a fine, but there were no points on my license).
